this sketch is probably a combination of listening to the onslaught of ebola news and playing too many hours of space themed video games.
Here’s a peak at my latest sketchbook compilation zine “the earth worm”. In it, you’ll find character studies, background sketches, unfinished comic segments and half thought out word bubbles all put together (hopefully) in its own kind of cohesive chaos. If you missed me at LA Zine Fest all the way back in february, you can pick one up at Meltdown Comics in LA.
More from the old sketchbook. These are drawings i did from my iphone on the airplane in mid may with a brush pen. Turns out, pressure at 30,000 feet causes the ink reservoir to gush out, so lots of black is the only option. The middle one’s a selfie.
I don’t even know what I was thinking when I made this
A peak at my new 20 page zine of sketchbook and diary drawings. Ima be trading/selling it at the LA Zine Fest table during the 2013 Portland Zine Symposium tomorrow.
"LAST YEAR"……Thanks again to my friend jenna (morningriser.tumblr.com) for the beautiful story and super thweet collaboration. Coming up next… zines!
I stole this story from my friend hannah’s tumblr page (http://www.hannahmight.tumblr.com) . I’ve been using my friends’ writing for my comics lately. I find that we share the same experiences, thoughts, fears and whatever else… they just write it out better than i ever could. so thanks friends!
I took my friend jenna’s tumblr post (http://morningriser.tumblr.com/) and using her text made this short comic about riding through san francisco.
